Today we celebrated your 2nd birthday with a semi-rainbow themed party at the Museum of Life and Science here in Durham.
All your friends from playgroup were able to come, except William because he is sick.
You and your friends ate some snacks and did coloring and sticker pages.
Then it was time for birthday cake!
I am pretty proud of the rainbow cake I made!
And you certainly seemed to enjoy it!
Clifton, Brooklyn, you, Kathryn (who didn't want to be close to your birthday cape), and Bryson
Then it was time to open your presents!
Brooklyn was a good helper!
You received a lot of fun things- a little piano, cash register, stickers and coloring books, a purse, a subscription to Zoobies, a play birthday cake, a play dishwashing set, and lots of other great things!
After the party time (9:30-11AM), everyone had access to the museum!
Of course it was practically the coldest day of the season so far (it's been unusually warm), but we still had fun walking around outside with Clifton and his parents.
By the time we headed home, you were exhausted! Look at that tired 2 year old!
But after a good nap, you rallied and were ready for playtime with all your new toys!
You, Rah Rah, and Nana played grocery and cooked for a long time!
(Your Daddy and Pops went shooting this afternoon)
After a dinner of pizza and salad, Pops and Nana put your piano together and you enjoyed playing songs for us.
It was a great day to celebrate two years of you!
We love you!
