This morning was my 24 week prenatal appointment! Nothing out of the ordinary! Weight- good, blood pressure- good, urine- good. Sadie's heart rate was between 136- 138 beats per minute! The amount of time that the PA spent in my room equaled about 3 minutes, which was fine with me! Just enough time for her to measure my fundal height (which was right on track). I didn't have any questions for her, so time to go!
I also had my 2nd phone appointment with the OB nurse from my insurance company on Monday. I missed her call originally, but we emailed back and forth a couple of times and she fit me in between her other appointments. Basically she just went over kind of what to expect here in the second trimester and, again, I didn't have any questions, so it was a quick phone call!
So grateful that everything is going so smoothly!

So I took a 23 week picture this past weekend, but I somehow can't find it! But I took this on my phone after Sadie and I went for a walk with Abby! Gotta love a good bathroom bump picture!!

22 weeks
How far along? 22 weeks today
How big is baby? the size of a papaya
Weight gain? +6 pounds so far
Maternity clothes? I used my belly band a couple of times this week and I found out that my jeans definitely don't fit (very uncomfortable even while using the rubber band trick on the button)
Sleep? Still sleeping well
Food cravings/aversions? I had a strange craving for a Cherry Coke earlier this week! It tasted delightful!
Miss anything? Not this week!
Baby's sex? Sadie Austin is our sweet little girl!
Best moment this week? I'm pretty sure I felt her move on Wednesday night!! Just a few bumps on the right side of my abdomen, but they felt different than anything I've felt before!
Looking forward to? Feeling her more and more and being 100% sure that it's her!

21 weeks
How far along? 21 weeks yesterday
How big is baby? the size of a pomegranate
Weight gain? +6 pounds so far
Maternity clothes? I didn't wear any pregnancy specific clothing this week
Sleep? Still sleeping well
Food cravings/aversions? loving pimento cheese sandwiches and any kind of berry
Miss anything? My face has been broken out for the past couple of weeks, so maybe clear skin?
Baby's sex? Sadie Austin is our sweet little girl!
Best moment this week? Everyday looking at my growing belly is wonderful! And my belly button is slowly disappearing haha. Brad and I also went baby furniture shopping yesterday at Furnitureland South! All the cribs we saw were pretty similar and all looked nice, it's just a matter of which finish we prefer. We did see a pink and light pink/almost cream striped rug that we both loved and we'll probably get that for Sadie's room!
Looking forward to? Hopefully feeling some movement soon! I've had a couple of times in the past week where I thought that maybe it could have been her, but I'm not sure! Can't wait to feel her for sure!

| The elastic band on this dress isn't ideal for bump pics, but she's getting bigger in there! |

20 week appointment
Today I had my 20 week doctor's appointment! I can't believe how fast time is going by! Halfway already (well, 19 weeks, 5 days)!
My appointment was at 2:45, but I waited almost an hour to be taken back to a room. But that's why I take a book to all my appointments! The nurse did my weight, blood pressure, tested my urine, listened to baby girl's heartbeat (between 135 and 140 bpm!) and asked if I was having any problems (thankfully, none). Then I only waited a few minutes for Dr. Thompson. He said my weight, blood pressure, and urine looked great. He was glad to see that my Harmony test was negative and that my anatomy scan was "as good as it gets." What wonderful words to hear! I asked about wearing compression stockings and a maternity support belt. The stockings specifically for when I'm working and the support belt for when I'm working or exercising. He recommended both, so I plan on looking into both in the next couple of weeks.
I also asked about traveling during pregnancy and he said I can go anywhere up to 32 weeks and then no traveling more than one hour away from Winston. Brad's grandparents' anniversary is the second weekend in November (34 weeks) and the family is getting a cabin in Gatlinburg. Dr. Thompson said that would probably be fine, as long as my in-laws can come and get me (no driving by myself- Brad will be on nights).
I love these quick, everything-looks-great appointments! My next appointment is August 30!
