Rah Rah and Uncle Lee's visit

Rah Rah has been visiting us since last Thursday! She brought Uncle Lee up here because he was flying out of the Raleigh-Durham airport to Baltimore to go to baseball camp at the Naval Academy in Annapolis! He flew out on Saturday and came back last night.

We spent the week hanging out with Rah Rah- shopping, swimming, going to Duke Gardens! We had a blast!

seven months old

This past month:
- you have been consistently eating some solid foods for about 2.5 weeks. You have oatmeal cereal
in the mornings and a fruit or vegetable at night. You love your cereal, bananas, and avocados.
You're not a fan of broccoli.
- you have still been nursing 5-6x day.
- you've loved being in the pool!
- we have moved to Durham permanently and your Daddy started his new job (pediatric
endocrinology fellowship) on July 1. We said our goodbyes to all our sweet friends in Winston,
but we will hopefully see them again soon!
- your sleep has gotten 100x better! You wake up between 4:30 and 5:30AM to eat and then fall
back asleep until around 8. You also take 2 good naps during the day!
- we went on a hike at Eno River State Park with the Jacksons on July 12. We did about 4 miles
on the Cox Mountain Trail. You and Clifton did great despite the heat!
- we celebrated your Mommy's 28th birthday with a pool "party" at our neighborhood pool with
  the Jacksons.
- you sit unassisted 100% of the time. And if you fall, you simply tuck and roll and keep playing!
- you still like riding in the car, but our return trip from Chattanooga at the end of June was pretty
brutal (8.5 hrs is no fun!)
- you decided you don't like your pacifier anymore.
- you love getting your hands on anything and everything you can... and it all goes straight to your
  mouth!
- you continue to be quite the talker! And we love hearing your laugh!
- you've been doing some scooting around when you're on your belly.
- you've still been wearing 6 month clothing and size 2 diapers.
Weight: 16-17 lbs.
Length: 27+ in.
