We had a great visit with Nana!
We celebrated Mothers' Day by going to church and then having a picnic at Duke Gardens.
Our last dinner with the Jacksons before Eloise came on May 17.
The last of the belly kissing pictures...
Brittany and Beth visited the weekend before Eloise was born.
We went to the jump park on Friday and Duke Gardens on Saturday.
On May 24, our world changed for the better at 11:50 AM with the arrival of Eloise Mae Thrasher!
Our last picture as a family of 3.
Sadie spent time with Nana and Pops at the playground and Field and Stream before coming to the hospital after nap time.
Sadie was a little apprehensive at first.
But Eloise brought Sadie a Bitty Baby as a big sister gift and she warmed up quickly.
Baby Emma quickly needed a diaper change and then Sadie wanted to sit with me.
And after Sadie held baby Emma and I held Eloise, she asked to hold Eloise.
It was so sweet. She wanted to check Eloise out.
The next morning, Sadie came by the hospital for a little while before Brad took her back home for lunch and a (non-existent) nap.
On Thursday, May 26, we brought Eloise home from the hospital.
Sadie is such a sweet big sister!
Daddy's girls
The Sunday after Eloise was born, the Jacksons brought over ice cream and to meet Eloise
(they were out of town when she was born)
Our first visit to the pool this summer was yesterday. Sadie wasn't thrilled to go, so she wore an athletic shirt, shoes, and bike shorts. She loved it once she was there!
The Jacksons brought dinner last night and Sadie and Clifton had a great time running around outside after we ate.
