Today my co-workers (at Forsyth Medical Center) and I celebrated Sadie's upcoming arrival with a wonderful baby shower!

Today was a beautiful day for a baby shower in Winston-Salem!

I was so blessed that my friends here wanted to shower Sadie and me with such a wonderful gift!

Sadie received so many wonderful gifts! I can't wait for her to get here and meet all of my wonderful friends!

Mom and I spent tonight laying everything we have received out in the living room, categorizing it, and organizing it in Sadie's room! Things seem less overwhelming now that I know exactly what we have!

This afternoon Cindy and Merri hosted a wonderful shower for me!

 It was at Cindy's house and everything looked so beautiful!

 Sadie received so many wonderful gifts! Two big gifts were her swing/bouncer and a sweet wall canvas with her name on it that Kim Guin painted for her!

 Mom had a surprise for me- she's started smocking again! I can't wait for Sadie to wear the sweet things she's going to smock for her!

 And Shelia also had a sweet surprise- a beautiful quilt that she made for Sadie's room! 

 It was so wonderful to celebrate Sadie's upcoming arrival with so many wonderful friends!

Connie and Jenna came up special for the day!

This weekend was our last trip to Tennessee as a family of two!

This afternoon Samantha, Cara, Vanessa, and Sarah hosted a wonderful shower for Sadie and me! It was so fun to catch up with great friends that I don't get to see very often! Every detail was perfectly coordinated and planned out!

Guests could type a note to adhere inside the book they brought for Sadie's library!

There was a crafting station to make iron-on decal onesies, t-shirts, and bibs and one to make little headbands for Sadie!

We enjoyed delicious desserts and played a fun candy bar game!

It was such a sweet time to be able to celebrate Sadie's upcoming arrival!
