This past month:
- you have become so spunky and sassy! We love your personality!
- it has been so funny to watch you sit and spin in a circle, so you can reach things! You don't
need one of those "sit'n'spin" toys, you can do it by yourself!
- you still love to read- you will crawl to find books under piles of toys and you'll just sit
there and flip through the pages!
- you have become very ticklish and we love it!
- you had 2 playmates with Clifton and your new friend Kathryn (her mom is Anna) on Aug. 20
(at our house) and Sept. 11 (at Clifton's house).
- you really started scooting/ army crawling on Aug. 21 and now you crawl with one knee and
one foot.
- your right upper tooth finally emerged on Aug. 22 and the left came through on Aug. 31 (while we
were at the beach). Teeth total: 4
- we took another trip to Duke Gardens on Aug. 25 with your Daddy.
- you started making intentional clapping motions on Aug. 27.
- you said Mama for the first time on Aug. 31 and now that's your #1 phrase!
- you pulled to a stand for the first time on Sept. 2 and now love pulling up on everything (you
haven't figured out how to do it in your crib yet, but it's on the lowest setting anyway)!
- you started grinding your teeth on Sept. 5 (makes me shiver just thinking about that noise!)
- some new foods you've experienced are Mahi Mahi, salmon, mashed potatoes, roasted parmesan
squash and zucchini (you love these), grits, mandarin oranges, green beans, and you've been
liking broccoli more!
- your hair has definitely settled into strawberry blonde! Some days it's more red than others, but I
still think it's funny when people comment on your "red hair."
We love you so much, sweet girl!
