Final weekly bump picture!

38 weeks

I've had two doctor's appointments since my last weekly picture. My 37 week appointment was last Friday and my 38 week appointment was yesterday. Both went well and Eloise's heart rate was in the 150s both times.

6:12 AM, Sadie wakes up and while still in her bed:

"Chick-fil-a. Chick-fil-a. Go to Chick-fil-a."

It's hard to explain to a two-year-old that Chick-fil-a is literally closed on Sundays.

Tonight while lying in bed:

Me: "What did you like best about today? What was your favorite thing you did today?"
Sadie: "I played. I ate yogurt. Sadie a butterfly, Clifin (Clifton) a donkey, Miss Carolyn a cow, Mommy an elephant."
Me: "Was Claire there?" (wherever "there" was... a dream, maybe?)
Sadie: "Claire is Belle."

April photos

 Samantha came to visit us the second weekend of the month! We went to the NC Zoo on Saturday and Duke Gardens on Sunday. She lives in DC now and we were so glad she was able to come down.

On April 11, Sadie finally started sleeping in her big girl bed! We've had it set up since before Easter, but it's been a struggle to get her to sleep in it. She wasn't getting out of bed, but she just didn't want to sleep there... at all! But perseverance paid off and after an hour of laying with her and then moving to the floor and then finally leaving, she finally got comfortable and fell asleep! The first two days, I gave her 5 pennies if she slept in her bed for nap and bedtime, but she and I both forgot after that and things are still going great (except she's been waking up around 6:30AM).

Sadie loves having Claire come over in the afternoons! She always wants Claire to dress up with her!

 We went to the UNC Blue and White football game with the Jacksons one Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful day and probably the only game we'll be going to. It was great for Sadie because there weren't that many people and she could walk all around.

 One day Claire stayed with us all day (9:30-5:30)! Sadie and I took her to the playground in the morning and played at home in the afternoon. Unfortunately she didn't nap at all while she was here, but Sadie slept through a while of Claire crying and even slept an hour after I got Claire out of the crib. Makes me hopeful for when Eloise comes (and cries).

 We went with playgroup to the Life and Science Museum one day. 

Brad left yesterday for a Pediatric Endocrinology Society conference in Baltimore. Nana is here for the weekend to hang out with Sadie and me! 

36 weeks

Yesterday was my 36 week appointment. Eloise's heart rate was 150. It was probably my quickest appointment so far (not that I'm complaining). Now I start going every week until May 24!
