February photos

Rah Rah came to visit for a whole week! We had a great visit! Unfortunately the night before she was supposed to leave, Sadie came down with the stomach bug! Poor thing threw up probably 10 times that night! We all felt so bad for her. Rah Rah stayed an extra day to help us. Also unfortunately Brad, Mom, and I also got sick several days later, but Sadie definitely had it the worst.
We met Miss Allison, Carter, and Natalie at the Greensboro Children's Museum.
Clifton and Miss Carolyn went with us!
Potty training has been going exceptionally well. Sadie has cut both of her bottom 2 year molars. We have been talking about baby Eloise's arrival a lot. Readying books, taking care of baby dolls, and just talking about her in general. Sadie is so excited!

26 weeks

I was excited to pass my glucose tolerance test with a result of 94 this week!
Eloise's heart rate was 160 at my appointment on Tuesday.
Oh and her name will be Eloise Mae!

potty training

On January 9, Sadie pee peed in her little potty for the first (and second) time!
I have had it sitting out for a few days and she would go and sit on it in her clothes (or princess dress haha). But that Saturday she went twice and we decided to go ahead and take advantage of it!
The next day she picked out princess panties at Target and we were ready!
The first week went pretty well. I was reminding her a lot during the day (which I completely expected) and she only had a handful of accidents. We ventured out to Walmart one day accident free. And I put a diaper on her when we went to Bible Study because I didn't think she was ready for that.
By the end of the first week, I just felt discouraged because she was only going when I reminded her and sometimes I even had to "make" her go.
So starting the second week (MLK day), we decided to just not remind her and let her tell us when she needed to go. It only took a couple of small accidents for her to catch on and the past couple of weeks have been much better! Today makes 10 days with no accidents and wearing her panties all day, except for naps and bedtime.
I'm so proud of Sadie. This was one of the things that I wanted to check off my "before baby girl comes" list! I hope it continues to go well!
