8 month pictures

Since you turn 8 months old tomorrow (say what?!), I took you to Portrait Innovations to get some pictures taken to document (as if your life isn't well documented) this sweet age!
You were pretty apprehensive in the beginning, but warmed up a bit and the pictures turned out adorable (as if they would be anything less)!

 The second outfit you wore (light pink) is a Feltman & Bros. dress from when I was a baby!
You look so sweet in it! 

new trick

I laid you down on your belly for your nap this afternoon. I came downstairs, got something out of the fridge, turned the monitor on, and this is what I saw...

You did it one more time when I laid you down again, but when I put you in your sleep sack, you fell right asleep. I tried to get you to sit up for me this afternoon, but you were keeping your tricks to yourself!

Those toes, ears, hands, eyelashes, teeth, lips, that nose and chin… love love love!

Nana and Pops' visit

Your Nana and Pops visited us this weekend! They arrived late late Friday night, but Pops was up bright and early Saturday morning to play with you! 

Saturday was Nana's 50th birthday! She loved spending it with you!

Your daddy has been on call this weekend, so we just chilled at home (and it was so rainy). We did take a quick trip to the mall with Pops and Nana though!

They left a little after 2 this afternoon. So glad they came up for a quick trip!

bubbles

I think the first time you were exposed to bubbles was at storytime at the library. While it's hard for you to really see them because the bigger kids run around and pop them, you seem to like watching them float around.

Nana brought you a little bubble blower and after she left today, we broke it out! 

You loved the bubbles!
